Cherokee Collision Center's locations are I-CAR Certified Gold Class Shops and certified in aluminum repair for today's vehicles using new manufacturing methods. When your vehicle has been in a collision it is critical for your family's safety and peace of mind to get it repaired properly. I-CAR training and certification provides confidence that the Marietta and Canton locations of Cherokee Collision Center have the up-to-date knowledge to repair your vehicle safely.
I-CAR, or the Inter-Industry Conference on Auto Collision Repair, is an international not-for-profit organization dedicated to providing the information, knowledge, and skills required to perform complete, safe, and quality repairs. The Gold Class designation assures customers that a shop has only trained technicians who know how to repair your vehicle properly. Only 10% of auto body shops meet the standards required to be Gold Class certified and Cherokee Collision Center is proud to be one of these shops.
I-CAR training keeps the Marietta and Canton shops up to date with repair methods on new vehicles. As the auto industry evolves away from traditional manufacturing methods and auto body repair becomes more complex with new materials, processes, and procedures it is more important than ever to receive current, proper training. Gold Class auto body shops are trained to know:
- How to make the right decisions for a safe repair
- The proper way to repair the different materials found on new vehicles
- How to find hidden damage untrained body shops may not see
- The latest repair technologies and procedures for new vehicles as they are released
- Which parts to repair and which to replace
I-CAR Aluminum Trained and Certified
Auto manufacturers are increasingly using aluminum to make vehicles more efficient. Collision repairs with aluminum are substantially different than with traditional steel and require different tools, equipment, and training. Cherokee Collision Center has aluminum certified technicians to properly repair these vehicles. Technicians are also certified with Ford, Acura, and Honda for aluminum repairs to those vehicles.
